He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Horner and Grace Horner. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacie L. Chapman and Elizabeth K. Scott (Chad); his significant other Marie J. Glaser; his grandchildren, Gavin Scott, Mason Scott, Gabriel Chapman, Jacen Chapman, Arianna Scott and Laney Potzick-Chapman; his sister Patricia Horner-Delagrange; and his nieces, Amy Fulton and Laurie Collins. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
