He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Orville and Lilly Hegel of Dayton; his parents, Eugene Hegel and Eileene Hegel of Elgin; and his sisters, Barbara and Lisa.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Hotchkiss; his brother Robert; his son Jason Edward Henry Hegel of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Angel and William.
