John N Rudy Obituary

John Norman Rudy, age 69, of Dayton, Ohio passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, August 8, 2022. John was born June 7, 1953 to parents G. Norman and Jane Adele (Buck) Rudy who preceded him in death as well as a step-brother, Steve Mustard.

John is survived by his daughter, Alison (Ben) Ruffin; sister, Susan (Frank) LaSota; step-sister Teresa Holbrook; grandsons, Charlie and Sam Ruffin; nieces and nephews, Megan Anthony Abrams, Michael Anthony, Cady Holbrook, Audrey Holbrook, Amy Holbrook Mowbray and Betsy Holbrook Engels.

John graduated from Beavercreek High School and then spent 30 years working for Voss Chevrolet. He enjoyed sports and cars as his hobbies. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed, but is now at peace.

There are no services planned but burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.
