He was predeceased by : his husband Eric J Ross; and his parents, Walter Parker Stuart Jr. and Jean Criswell Stuart. He is survived by : his sister Dr. Ann C. Stuart (Dennis Loy); and his nephews, Nathan and Samuel Bevelhimer.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (125 N Wilkinson St, Dayton, OH 45402).
