In the vast expanse of eternity, John Stuart shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Stuart farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wells and Ethel Wells; his wife Reverend Gail Wells; his sister Marie VanAtche; and his daughter Denine Wells Steinmetz.
He is survived by: his children, John Wells (Tammy), Thomas Wells (Cynthia), Kathy Wells, Debra Miller (Jonathan) and Wendy Wells. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heifer International, an organization that seeks to end hunger and poverty by supplying individuals with livestock.
