We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2025, at the age of 90, Johnavieve Lyda Trickey of Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Johnavieve Lyda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Johnavieve Lyda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Walser and Helen Walser. She is survived by: her husband Ray N. Trickey; and her children, Katherine Mayer (Corey), Michael Trickey (Diane), Steven Trickey (Sally), Susan Ferrari (Martin), Patricia Wesdorp (Thomas) and Robert Trickey (Rebecca). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Church (5550 Munger Rd, Dayton, OH 45459).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
