As we bid Josefa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Josefa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Rayes Garcia and Helen Valeria (Frye); and her husband Jon A. Kelley. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Cross and Debra Dargitz.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the David's Cemetery (4600 Mad River Rd, Dayton, OH 45429).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Toni's name to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
