He is survived by : his children, Roderick Twyman (Angela), Stanley (Tammy), Joseph Collins Jr. (Krystal), Latasha Scott (Anderson) and Sandra Raye-Redmond (Marc); his grandchildren, Javen (Benita), Lance, Jamar, Marc Jr., Jo'Nae, Raeven, Christopher, Trevon, Camille, Trae, Myia, Lanissa, Davon and Stacia; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Carter, Yu'Nari, Zyrell, Zarealle and Zyrus; his siblings, Robert Wayne (Karla), William Collins (Faith), Mae Dell Foster, Helena Jones, Ann Chapman, Brenda Posey, Blondie Johnson (John) and Alma Ruth Morgan (Horace); his sister-in-law Rosa Collins; and his aunt Betty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Missionary Baptist Church (900 Lexington Ave, Dayton, OH 45402). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
