She is survived by: her children, Rehema Wa-Tenza (Kimaru), Debra Haynes (Jerry), Richard Evans (Brenda) and Darryl Evans (Margaret); her grandchildren, Mosi, Ayo, Sanyu, Nia, Elijah and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Kiama, Ayanna, Nas, Tay, Taj, Akira, Nova and Nala.
