He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis J. "Jerry" Kessler and Rebecca M. "Becky" Kessler (Wilcox); and his grandparents, Rubin, Corrine Wilcox, Lewis and Lucy Kessler.

He is survived by : his wife Debra Kessler (Hoskins); his daughter Karleigh Kessler; his brothers, Lewis "Mike" Kessler (Donna) and Karl Kessler (Kelly); his aunt Rose Kessler; his parents-in-law, Laymon and Nellie Hoskins; and his siblings-in-law, Dee and John Stedman. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, and 3 great-nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
