He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Edward Phelps; and his grandmother Claire Cronin McLaughlin. He is survived by: his mother Cathleen Phelps (McLaughlin) of Troy; his siblings, Michael Phelps (Jennifer) of Lexington, KY and Courtney Wright (Tyler) of Troy; his uncle Stephen McLaughlin (Deborah) of Lexington, KY; and his nieces and nephews, Addison, Thomas, Lucy, Björn and Gavin.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick School in Troy or, in memory of his fondness of dogs, to the Miami County Animal Shelter.
