He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Collins (Knisley); his parents, Ben Collins and Mae Collins (Russell); his siblings, Esther Collins, Buddy "Charles" Collins and Margaret Bonecutter; and his parents-in-law, Ernest and Mary Knisley.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Pickens (Lee Ann) of New Vienna, Tracy Potts (Todd) and Douglas Pickens (Crystal) of Carrollton; his stepchildren, Wesley Jester (Kelly), Crystal Jester and Kim Jackson (Matt); and his siblings, Phyllis Greathouse (Terry), Leonard Collins (Charlene), Gary Collins, Marvin Collins (Terresa), Elizabeth Mongold and Amanda Yambor (Collins). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and nine step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home & Cremation Services (509 Washington Ave, Washington Court House, OH 43160). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
