He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Horwath and Marguerite Horwath; his former wife Martha (Jauch); and his brother Darrell Horwath. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Jelinek); his children, Katherine VonderBrink (Phil), John (Maureen), James (Tami), Robert (Alice), Thomas (Raquel) and Michael (Christine); and his stepchildren, Karen Malko, Michael Malko and Rebecca Welz (Donny). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
