He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Sheff (Goldstein) and Samuel Sheff; his son Scott Sheff; and his brother Gerald "Jerry" Sheff. He is survived by: his wife Regina Harlow-Sheff; his sons, Mark and David Sheff of Boston Massachusetts; his stepsons, Josh Harlow and Shane Fuller of Dayton, Ohio; his brother Robert Sheff of North Carolina; and his sister-in-law Sheila Sheff of Delray Beach, Florida. He is also survived by several cousins nieces and nephews.
