It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee M. Gossett of Dayton, Ohio, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gossett and Inda Gossett (Jones); his siblings, Dennis, Dorothy, Dale, Alta, Glen, Edna, Bert and Bertha; and his son-in-law Dan Sammons.
He is survived by: his wife Nelva Gossett (Dunagan); his children, Curt Gossett (Brenda) and Karen Sammons; his grandchildren, Bret Gossett (Christina), Melanie Keels (Curt) and Emily Fowler (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Dylan, Ava, Sophia and Gabriel. He is also survived by his extended family & many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Lee to the Vandalia Baptist Temple.
