She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Brantley and Henrietta Brantley; her spouse Rev. Odis Shine; her daughter Teri Fleming; her granddaughter Anya Cooper; her siblings, Walter Brantley Jr., Sylvester Brantley, Robert Brantley, Lola Johnson, Lucy Sanders and Annie Lander; and her son-in-law Lessley Donaldson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce E. Donaldson, Retired Major Walter K, Tonya R. Shine, Dr. Pamela R. Shine and Jacquelyn M. Shine; her brother-in-law Rev. Bobie Hampton of Houston; and her nieces, Lynette Wright, Yolanda Mallory, Crystal Brantley and Ananda Harris. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
