She was predeceased by: her parents, Steinhart Cheatham and Arde Staley; and her brother Willie Cheatham. She is survived by: her husband James L. Gray; her children, Rhonda Townsend (Lorenzo), Kesha Pierce (Jerry), James Stanley Ensley (LaShonya), Letitia Lasley and Marilyn White; her siblings, Anthony Jones, Burnett Cheatham, Zobia Sally, Brenda Tucker and Denese Cordell; and her grandchildren, Cordell, Ja'Veon, Khiry, De'Quan, Ronesha, Kiley, Brittany, Ahjahnee, Summer, Euri, Qui'Nesha, Jerrin and Nyjil. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
