We bid farewell to Linda Jean Longo of Dayton, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Linda Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Davey and Paul Scott; her grandparents, Samuel and Hazel Thompson; and her brothers, Michael and Glenn Scott.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Longo (Amy) and Eric Longo; her brother Robert Scott; her sisters-in-law, Doris Scott and Diane Scott; her cousin Vickie Armentrout (Bobby); and her pets, Penny, River and Ricki. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After a short retirement, she returned to work at Dot's Market for several years and retired permanently during the pandemic.
Her generous heart extended to many causes she quietly supported, including SICSA Pet Adoption Center, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Arbor Day Foundation.
