With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lona M. Burroughs of Dayton, Ohio, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Burroughs; her brother Jimmy Carroll; and her granddaughter Angela "Angel" Caisse. She is survived by : her children, Anthony Zompetti (Tami), Brenda Young and Karen Bennett (Ben); and her stepchildren, Charles Burroughs, Janie Mekik (Tarkan), Kenneth Burroughs (Renee) and Rhonda Burroughs. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home (5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
