We announce the death of Lucy B. McAdams in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Lucy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lucy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lucy will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lucy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mac; and her parents, Olive Haltom and Marvin Haltom. She is survived by: her children, Debi Harris and Doug Harris; her sister Sally Haltom (Wayne Clapp); her nephew Mike Alcock (Racheal Alcock); and her great-niece Lexi Alcock. She is also survived by cousins, friends and admirers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
