He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus "Fate" Lewis and Carrie Nova "Lee" Lewis (Rector); his wife Roberta Lewis (Grooms); his children, Kevin Wayne Lewis and Cathy Ann Lewis; his son-in-law Scott Fischer; and his grandson Anthony Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Fischer, Mack and Mike Lewis; and his grandchildren, Shad, Jarrett, Alisha, Derek Sandlin, Cheryl Malone (Todd), Sarah Hall-Shepherd, Brittany Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Brooke Gau, Amberlynn Lewis, Eric Lewis, Shane Wendling, Corey Lee and Brandy Roberts. He is also survived by great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
