It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Stargel of Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mae Stargel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sophie Morgan and Elijah Morgan; her children, Derrick Lee Sutton and Sheila Faye Sutton; and her siblings, Hettie Howard, Martha Griffey, Polly Burkhart, Henry L Morgan, Elijah Morgan Jr., Robert Morgan and Charles Morgan.

She is survived by: her sister Myrtle Hoskins; her children, Dianna Sutton, David Sutton (Debbi), Sherry Deel (Roger), Johnnie Dillinger and Mark Pugh; her grandsons, Brett Sutton (Jen), Joshua Willoughby, Matthew Dillinger and Nicholas Dillinger; and her great grandchildren, Macy, Nolan, Luke and Claire Sutton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice.
