With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Elena Cata (Dayton, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria left this world on June 24, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eladio Rivero and Margarita Rivero; and her sister Virginia Cabazon. She is survived by: her aunts, Madrina and Dora; her children, Ceferino, Margarita (Maggie), Maria Elena (Rubia) and Carlos; her friend Ceferino; her son Drs; her grandchildren, Michael Cata (Sarah), Emily Grad (Ryan), Andrew Cata (Kate Kelly), Elena, Ian and Nathan Cata; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Theo, Julian Cata, Olivia and Blair Grad; Tere Gil and Ecilda Cata. She is also survived by six grandchildren as well as the five great grandchildren.
