She was predeceased by: her husband Joaquin; and her parents, Dario Aguiar and Maria Corgos. She is survived by: her sons, Joaquin and Alfredo Hidalgo; her daughter-in-law Maria Deneau; her grandchildren, Agatha, Lily Hidalgo, Mitchell Hidalgo-Nice, Matthew and Lucas Hidalgo; and her great grandchild Jude Hidalgo-Brown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
