She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus William Haigler and Bessie Mae Rushing Haigler; her husband Bruce Leonard Boyd; her children, Teresa Kay Bryant and Keith Bryant; and her siblings, Polly Sutherland, Hilton Haigler, Carl Haigler, Zee Stokes, Brice Haigler and Jerry Haigler.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Bryant; her stepchildren, Brian J. Boyd and Brenda M. Boyd; and her siblings, Donald Haigler and Pat Polk.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (3619 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110).
