It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion L. Hicks (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hicks and Aletha Hicks; his son Wayne Atkinson; his siblings, Phillip Hicks, Robert Hicks, Thelma Patrick and Gary Hicks; and his nephew Dwight Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Cummins (Sean) and Edward Hicks (Alicia); his brothers, Ronald Hicks and Lloyd Hicks (Donna); his niece Aletha Bailey (Shawn); his close friend Charlie Baker; and his friends, Donna and Steve Ray. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
