He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Borgerding and Ida Borgerding (Gels); his siblings, John, Daniel, Robert, Joseph, Eugene Borgerding (Ramona), Richard Borgerding, Harold Borgerding (Jean), James Borgerding, Henrietta, Norma Grieshop (Jerry), Virginia Grimberg (Ken), Marie Glass (William), Joan Wendel (Elmer) and Pat Sauer (Jack); his sister-in-law Marilyn Borgerding (Richard); and his wife Marilyn J. Allen.

He is survived by: his children, Beth Ortuno (Victor) of Toronto and Mark A. Borgerding (Elaine) of Dublin, OH.; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Catherine, Marco, Matthew, Nathan, Yajaira and Victor; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Laney, Mya and Remi.
