She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer O. Armstrong, Sr.; her parents, Herman Hines and Ruby E. Hines; and her siblings, Herman, Carlos Hines and Esther Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer O. Armstrong, Jr. (Rachell) and Sondra L. Armstrong; her grandchildren, Dennett and Damien McLaurin (Sharee); her great grandchildren, Sage and Derek McLaurin; her sisters, Cyrilla Hines Tolliver and Gloria Fields; and her friends, Linda McLaurin and Morris Nolan.
