She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Paul and Bertha Kelly (Morahan); and her brother Donald Kelly (Bernie). She is survived by: her husband Colonel Ronald Eugene Knipfer; her children, Maureen Byrne (Kevin), Ann Welch (Doug) and John Knipfer, MD; her grandchildren, Sean Byrne, John Paul Byrne and Julia Knipfer; her siblings, Brian Kelly (Lois), John Kelly (Marie) and Nuala van Kan (Ignace); and her siblings-in-law, Susanne Brockett (Dion) and Dennis Knipfer (Jean). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
