Marybeth Rutledge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marybeth Rutledge in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Wagner (Betty) and Victor Wagner (Ray); her siblings, Jeannine Rogers, Carol Sullivan and Ray Wagner; her niece Mary Kay Waldoch; and her nephews, Joe Sullivan, Jr. and Tommy Drayson.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Rutledge; her children, Patricia Rutledge and Jim Rutledge; her children-in-law, Robert Hancock and Joan Rutledge; her grandchildren, Jessica Bolstad (Webb), Jimmy Rutledge (Jordan), Robert Rutledge (Carolina Cortes) and Wesley Rutledge; her great grandchildren, Evie, Ruby and Antonio; her sisters, Rita Drayson Thibodeaux and Loretto Clarkson (John); and her sister-in-law Ann Dunn (Briggs).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to two of Marybeth's favorite charities: Oak Tree Corners, whose mission is providing grief support for children, teens, and families (http://www.oaktreecorner.org) and The Foodbank, Inc, which provides food to people in need of assistance (thefoodbankdayton.org).
