He is survived by: his wife Karen Grote; his daughter Megan Grote; his siblings, Joe Grote (Mary Jean), Jim Grote (Cammy) and Mary Beth Stave (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hoskins (Susan) and Joyce Parmley (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
