She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Owens Humphrey and Mattie M. Woodley Humphrey; and her siblings, Virginia Humphrey, Helen Lacey, Orlando Humphrey Jr. (Billy) and Ronnie Humphrey.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Diane Adams, LaNita Jo Fox and Therese James; her sister Vera H. Lacey; her sister-in-law LaMarr James; her goddaughter Marsha Henderson; and her close friends, Betty Burton, Zenobia Horton, Margaret Hughes, Jesse Gooding, Brandon, Camyel Calhoun and Patricia Day.
