She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Hawkins and Harriet Hawkins; and her husband Edward C. Ruff Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Edward Jr. (Susan), Chris (Donna), Nikki Shelby, Michael (Melinda), Heath and Teresa Helm (Brian); her grandchildren, Lauren Robbins (Kyle), Lindsey Jehle (Chris), Michael (Bethany), Christen Whalen (Anthony), Eddie III, Katie, AJ Helm, Sam, Chase Helm, Matthew and Alexis; her great grandchildren, Rowan Whalen, Ryan, Logan Ruff and Willow Whalen; and her siblings, LaVerne Hollis, Donna Mae Babb and Ed Hawkins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (4961 Salem Ave, Dayton, OH 45416). A Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maureen's memory to: Greater Dayton Humane Society, Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
