Mercedes Michelle Payton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mercedes Michelle Payton of Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 34. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her brother Brandon Turner; and her grandparents, Lorine Jones, Tommy Lee, Nathaniel, Mary Turner and Willine Dixon.
She is survived by : her parents, Yolanda Turner and Willie C. Jones (Katina) of Dayton, Ohio.; her children, Jeremy, Tassie Lee, Ja'mya, Donice and Edward Payton; her siblings, Adrian (Marianna), Willie Jones, Jr., Brittany Payton, Marie and Gabrielle Jones; her close friend Antonio Shackelford; and her sisters, Shy, Shyla Dixon and Mesha Coleman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Mercedes was a STNA and provided excellent nursing care to the residents at Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community facility for 16 years.
