He was predeceased by: his parents, McKeveous Black and Mary Black (Arnold); his wife Jaqueline Black (Hinch); his grandsons, Myron "K. J." Taylor and Ronald James; and his siblings, Donald, Wanda, Florence, Maxine, Phyllis and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, VeeDa Rucker, Michael Black Jr., Kasey Taylor Sr. (Myron), Stormy Black, Jason Nichols, Amber McKinney (John "J. K.") and Tootsie Young; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler, Marian, Tasheka, Takaysha, Tamya, Cameron, Jasmine, Brandon, Ahnyiah, Adrianah, Sydney, Malia, Briana, Jaunna, Jasan, Ally, Jasaya, Jason Jr., Jaceon, Jalencia, Kailyn and JVion; and his siblings, Kathy Allen (William), Douglas Black, Marilyn Hayes (Earl) and Raymond Black. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
