With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Lamar Dixon Sr. in Dayton, Ohio, born in Montgomery, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 62. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dixon and Sarah Dixon; his son Michael Lamar Dixon Jr.; and his siblings, Linda Dixon, Mary McDaniel and Henry Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Dixon; his son Dennis Dixon; his daughter-in-law Tiara Dixon; and his daughters, Michelle Rankins and Ayana Bracken-Hucks. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
