He is survived by: his parents, Gary Gierke of Florida and Judy Gierke (Drummond) of Lima; his daughter Meghan Gierke (Joe Johnson) of Dunkirk; his granddaughters, Aurora and Audra Johnson; and his siblings, Keith Gierke (Esther Dayton) of Titusville, FL and Sharon Brown (Greg) of Lima.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services.
