It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Howard (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Howard of Harlan Kentucky and Alma Howard (Harris) of Harlan; his former wife Kathleen "Kathy" Reese (Ebert); and his siblings, Oleta Juanita Johnson (James), Mary Howard, Lois Jones (Noah), Alma Joyce Friend (John), William and Jerry Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron Howard (Jaclyn), Ashley Gonzalez (Adam) and Whitney Howard; his grandchildren, McKenzie Howard, Zeke Scott III, Giavanna Gonzalez and Valentíno Gonzalez; and his brothers, Paul "Tracy" Howard (Pauline) and Carl Howard (Freida). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home - Kettering (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
