He was predeceased by: his parents, John Battaglia and Consetta Battaglia; his wife Teresa Battaglia; and his sister MaryJo Battaglia Chalfant. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Battaglia Jr. (Leslie), Andrew Battaglia, Consetta Ruffin (Michael), Adele Miesmer, Lesa Millett (Gabriel), Rosemarie Rinderle (Bruce) and Carla Greene (Charley); and his sister Pauline Battaglia Drerup.
