It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Tachenko (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on January 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mike Tachenko to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Tkachenko and Rose Tkachenko (Sokirka); his children, David Tachenko, Carrie Westerback and Linda Tachenko Bain; his siblings, Matt (Olga), Gus (Stacy), Lonny, Joe (Steve Tachenko), Leone Quast and Ann Holbrook (Delmar); his half-brothers, Nick Tkachenko, George, Andrew, Sam Tachenko, Bill Sterling and John Davis; and his grandchildren, Alex Tachenko Bain of Timothy Westra, Lola Beth Summerton Tachenko, Ann Smith Tachenko and Marvella Harmon Tachenko.

He is survived by: his former wife Lola Beth Summerton; his friends, Mike and Ann Smith; his spouse Mike; his daughters, Teresa Appleton (Kettering) and Jeanette Westra (Cincinnati); his stepchildren, Alan Harmon (Jackie), Janye Miller (Bob) and Cindy Bohm; his sister-in-law Estelle Tachenko of Virginia Tachenko; his sons-in-law, Michael Bain (Melody), Cincinnati and Carey Paul Westerback; his grandchild Tiffany Nicole Underwood (Ethan); and his children, Michael Paul Tachenko (Jennifer), Ellyn Beth Bain Adams and Bethany Rose Westerback.
