She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Singleton and Betty Yount. She is survived by: her sons, Paul (PJ) and Jeff Samson; and her grandchildren, Zavior, Zain, Kyrstin, Kylie, Abigail and Alexis.

Yet, her true calling lay in her substantial contributions to her church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, VBS teacher, and prayer warrior.
