She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wilmer and Sophia Wilmer; her husband David Lee Jones; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Boatright and Wayne Norvell.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Jones; her grandchildren, Brayden and Rheanne Jones; her daughter Debra Purdy; her grandchildren, Samantha Gray (Zachary), Peach and Mikenzie Purdy; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Scarlett and Nora Gray; her sisters, Billie Nelson (John), Pam Erickson (Tom) and Lavon Norvell; and her sister-in-law Sherry Logan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SICSA or any local rescues. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
