He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Hacker; his parents, Levi Hacker and Martha Hacker; and his siblings, John Hacker, Maynard Hacker, Sheridan Hacker, Edna White, Lizzie Bush and Bernice Sizemore.

He is survived by: his niece Wilivene Lorenzo (Paul); his nephews, Leroy Hacker and Ray Sizemore; his sister-in-law Cledith Bent (Don); and his nieces and nephews, Ramona Richason (Tom), Tim Lorenzo (Kim), Amy Lorenzo, Theresa Bent (Bob Keeton), Ken Bent (Nina), Regina Amburgey (Jon Todd), Diana Witt (Gary), Janice Wyatt (Johnny), Michael Hibbard, Connie Weinsteiger (Bill) and Mark Hibbard (Heather).
