As we bid adieu to Rita's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Rita has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Edward Hughes; and her parents, Richard Mastbaum and Lucille Mastbaum. She is survived by: her son Douglas; her daughter-in-law Jacque Hughes; her grandchildren, Mason and Ava Hughes; and her siblings, Mary Pfeiffer (Daniel) and Thomas Mastbaum (Gay Ann).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Marianist Environmental Education Center, 4435 E. Patterson Rd. Dayton Ohio 45430 would be greatly appreciated.
