He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Aleda Caldwell (Phil), Krista Tackett and Nathaniel Tackett; his grandchildren, Morgan Caldwell, Avalon Caldwell, Alexander Caldwell and Isabella Caldwell; and his siblings, Donald Tackett (Cathy), Vaughn Tackett (Jill) and Daniel Tackett.
