He is survived by: his siblings, Richard, Paul Gilbert, Barbara Young (Milton), Sarah Gilbert and Dianna Snerling (Elvis); and his children, Ronald Jackson, Shaleta Gilbert and Brenetta Franklin. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
