He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Smith; his wife Judith Smith; his father Fred R. Smith; and his brothers, Kenneth Smith (Carol) and Robert Smith (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Williams (Tim), Brandon Smith (Tabitha), Rhonda Covert (Rich) and Robert Smith; his sisters, Carol Dunnigan and Sandra Smith; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
