He was predeceased by: his son Hitesh. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Raina, Shay, Anya and Talin; his wife Saroj; his daughter-in-law Shalini; his daughter Poonam; his son-in-law Ameet; his brother Jagish; his sister-in-law Pushpa; his nephew Vinit; and his niece Sumi.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Satish's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to the family's heart.
