She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McPeek and Leoma McPeek; and her friend Joyce Repert. She is survived by: her husband Don; her son Douglas Burden (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Kaley Burden and Drevin Jordan; her brothers, Ray "Butch" McPeek, Jack McPeek and Steve McPeek; and her sister-in-law Suzanne Tillman (Jay). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Sharon's honor.
