He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Edward and Leola Mae Pryer Jones; his brother Horace; and the mother of his children Jessica Janice Jones. He is survived by: his wife Erma; his children, Kimberly Jemison (Kyle) and Sherman Edward; his grandsons, Xavier and Jahi Jemison; his sister Barbara; and his nieces, Tamika and LaToya.
